Position: Product Development Manager

Qloud is a rapidly growing Internet music service committed to transforming the consumer music experience by combining social communities with music content. Qloud is backed by some of the Internet’s leading investors and is prepared to become the Internet’s leading music service. Qloud is looking for a talented individual with both software development skills and product vision to help build the service. This individual will both conceive the user experience and build it, working in all phases of the product development cycle.

Responsibilities

+ Conceiving the Qloud user experience
+ Architecting and designing the Qloud system
+ Managing individual development projects throughout their lifecycle
+ Managing teams of software engineers
+ Writing code
+ Working with the leadership team to help drive our technical roadmap and future strategy
+ Examples of Qloud projects include:
- Flash-based streaming media
- Aggregated user actions feeds
- Integration with numerous web services and social network development platforms
- Development of internal and external facing API methods
- Advertising systems

Qualifications

+ Demonstrated experience developing web-based products in a LAMP in environment
+ Understanding of consumer web services
+ Outstanding knowledge of web-based programming languages including:
- PHP
- Javacript
- Flash/Actionscript
- HTML / CSS
+ Interest in social networking sites
+ Knowledge and interest in digital media (music and video)
